The children at the Bethesda Life Centre come from many different backgrounds – some are orphans, others are children of HIV/AIDS
parents but are themselves negative, some are children of sex workers or their parents have incurable diseases, others are children whose
parents simply cannot afford to support them.
Every child comes with a story on an unimaginable scale: many have lived on the street and have had to look after themselves; some have
been sexually abused or subjected to ill-treatment by police.
At the Bethesda Life Centre the children receive love, care and attention as well as safe accommodation, food, clothing, medical care and
a formal education at a nearby school.
Above all, the children receive the love of Jesus Christ and their lives are transformed through a strong moral foundation. The children are
truly blessed and God always provides for them.
Ultimately, the Bethesda Life Centre enables women and children to live life to the fullest.
